A Great Walling Family Adventure!
Welcome!
We are the Porkmeisters BBQ Team and Catering Company. This adventure started because all of us in the Walling Family love to cook and EAT! Mike, the Head Cook, has spent many a week-end with his grills. He never really cared what he cooked as long as he was cooking and then eating. Mike cooks by taste. There aren't any recipes or secrets to hide. He just cooks with his taste buds.
Debbie is the organized one on the team, and has a whole boat load of recipes. She is very focused on the competition and usually is yelling at Mike. He would rather sit back and have a beer instead of organizing or worrying about turn in times. Deb is our Desert Specialist. She also handles all our turn-in boxes and
site management. By the way, she cooks really good
also.
The rest of our team is basically anyone who wants to help. Family & Friends join us and usually are the ones who pick out what we turn in to the Judges.
Since our first competition in 2006, we have went on to win or place in the top ten many times. Our Chicken has won 4 first place finishes and placed 5th or better 6 times. Our Deserts and Crab Cakes have won or have been in the top ten many times.
This year we have decided to branch out and not only compete, but also do Pig Roasts and Small Parties. All our Customers have been very happy with our service and no one has ever left hungry!
2012 brings a new year with new Competitions. We hope to do as well as last year and even better. Stop by and see us and try to grab some samples. We always have some extra for Friends.

Meet the newest Porkmeister Crew Member, Charlie.
Charlie has spent many years perfecting the ability of tasting fine BBQ. We are lucky to have him on board. Charlie has stepped up and taken on the responsibilities of Co-Taste Tester and Turn-in Blocker for our Runner. Believe us when we tell that our turn-in's will never be late when Charlie is throwing a block!

Porkmeister BBQ Goes South for the Winter.
We have moved to South Carolina for the winter months learning new BBQ and cooking styles. We will be heading back North soon bringing a new and improved style with us.

5th Place Chef's Choice
Mom came through for the team again this year. She baked a 3 tier cheese cake in her cast iron pot and won 5th place. She has now been in the top 10 3 years running.
2011 Luau Another HUGE Success
This years party was a great day. Held at Lake in Wood Resort in Narvon PA., about 200 people were there and none of them went home hungry. Once again thanks to our great staff everything went as planned or better.
We Are Back For 2012
Once again we will be cooking at the Gnome Cafe in Lake in Wood Resort this coming year. Look for Friday night BBQ and weekly specials.
